:: Diamond shaped center medallion with minor floral palmette finials at each point atop a covered ground of sprawling germinating plants, serrated leaves, blossoms, buds, and tendrils throughout. Main border in a Herati style central floral blossom and encompassing mirrored leaves. Colors and shades include: Brick red, sand, beige, sapphire blue, dusty teal, pale blush, antique ivory, dusty rose, madder root red, sky blue, ivory and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Localized areas of expert restoration in varying degrees of expertise. Ground border color possible changed by expert reknotting since time of weaving. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Mahal carpet made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 10'4" x 14'2".
